Unboxing the new Shot Scope PRO LX laser rangefinder

Shot Scope's brand new PRO LX rangefinder comes packed with all the features that you'd expect from a premium laser, and more. In this blog post, I'll give you the lowdown on this new release and show you what you'll find inside the box.

About the Shot Scope PRO LX laser rangefinder

The PRO LX is a brand new offering from Scottish golf technology specialists, Shot Scope Technologies. Released earlier this year (March 2022), the PRO LX is the second rangefinder offering from Shot Scope, building on the success of their hugely popular entry-level PRO L1 model released in 2021.

Designed to rival the very best lasers on the market, the PRO LX comes packed with all of the features and functionality you’d expect from a premium rangefinder including lightning-quick distance detection, slope technology, and accuracy to within 1 yard. And, by connecting Shot Scope’s H4 Handheld device (sold separately) using its strong magnet, the PRO LX can also provide GPS distance information and performance tracking all from the same device.

PRO LX Feature List

As this is not a full product review for the PRO LX, I’m going to keep things fairly light touch here and simply highlight the key features that the device offers. You can click the button within the below table to visit the main Shot Scope website to view further details and the PRO LX’s full specification.

As always with Shot Scope products, the PRO LX rangefinder is beautifully packaged inside a high-quality Apple-Esque box.

Inside the box and you will find:

The gallery below contains some images of what comes inside the PRO LX laser rangefinder box. It’s worth noting that these images were captured after the rangefinder had been used for a period of time to test. Any markings on the range finder are a result of wear and tear during on-course usage and weren’t present when the product was opened for the first time.

Shop the Shot Scope PRO LX Rangefinder

If, after reading this blog post you’re interested in purchasing a Shot Scope PRO LX laser rangefinder then I’d recommend buying directly from Shot Scope in order to get the lowest price and the highest level of aftercare. The great news is that if you use the discount code ‘ANDYSGOLF’  at checkout then you can save an extra 15% off of the PRO LX or any other Shot Scope product including the Shot Scope PRO LX+.

Alternatively, if you’re more interested in the entry-level Shot Scope PRO L1 rangefinder then you can pick that up for around £150 with the additional 15% discount.

FINAL WORD

For me, the PRO LX has a more premium look and feel than the PRO L1 and I love the fact that the H4 Handheld can be added to provide GPS information and allow performance tracking. I’m currently in the process of testing it out on the golf course over a lengthy period of time to ensure I can bring you the most honest and accurate review possible. So far, I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen but once I’ve finished thoroughly testing the PRO LX, I’ll add my full review to the Equipment Reviews section of this golf blog and my YouTube channel

I hope you enjoyed reading this article and I would love to hear your thoughts on the new Shot Scope PRO LX (or this article). Feel free to drop me a comment below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading,

Andy
