Golf gifts under £20
For those of you with a slightly lower budget, just looking for something smaller, these affordable golf gifts will be ideal, and guaranteed to put a smile on your father’s face.
Golf is not a game of perfect - £6.98
Dr. Bob Rotella is a world-renowned sports performance consultant who has helped improve the mental strength of some of the best golfers in the world. In this book, he shares many of those tips and advice, which might help make your dad mentally unbreakable on the golf course.
Putting out of your mind - £8.95
Another golf book by guru Dr. Bob Rotella, this one focuses specifically on putting. If your dad often finds himself making three putts or blaming the greens for his poor performance, then this is definitely a book he should add to his bookshelf.
GolfAddictamol - £6.95
Does your dad spend too much time on the golf course? Does your dad spend every waking minute thinking or talking about golf? If so, then he’s probably addicted. Make him laugh with these novelty Golfaddictamol sweets.
Lindt Chocolate Golf Balls - £15.40
Your dad won’t be able to play with these golf balls, but he sure will enjoy eating them. Lindt chocolate is among the finest on the market, and these are INCREDIBLE. Just don’t expect your dad to share. I wouldn’t either!
Impact Detect Club Clean - £9.99
I’ve used this club-cleaning solution for over 5 years and I swear by it. No need for a bucket of hot soapy water, brushes, sponges or cloths. This stuff makes cleaning those golf clubs a breeze and can be kept in your dad’s golf bag for quick use at the golf course or driving range. Worth every penny. Your dad really will thank you later.
'Great bloke, shite golfer' novelty golf gift set - £13.99
I’m not normally one for novelty golf balls, as let’s be honest, they never actually get used and are often a waste of money. However, these golf balls did make me laugh and are definitely a worthy purchase for dads with a sense of humour (and a potty mouth!). They’ll even get a ball marker and some tees within this novelty gift set.
500 excuses for a bad golf shot - £6.99
In the many, many years I’ve been playing golf, I’ve used and heard a lot of excuses for bad shots. Your dad has probably used a few too. If, like me, he’s running a little low on excuses, why not top him up with this book of 500? I’m sure these will keep him going for a good few rounds!
Golf gifts between £20-£50
If you’re looking for a gift that’s a little more substantial, these golf gift options priced between £20 and £50 should be perfect for your dad.
Swish portable golf ball cleaner - £28.99
As seen on Dragon’s Den, this portable golf ball cleaning tool has been a big hit in the golf world due to the fact that it makes cleaning your golf ball mid-round so quick and easy. With a handy bag attachment, it’s the perfect tool to help your dad keep his balls clean between holes. It even comes in a range of colours for the more fashion-conscious fathers out there.
SnapSwing golf swing remote camera shutter - £24.99
If your dad is always filming and analysing his golf swing on the course or at the driving range, the SnapSwing remote camera shutter is the perfect tool to add to his bag. This little gadget attaches to the shaft of the golf club and, via Bluetooth, lets you start/stop recordings or take photos. I’ve got a full SnapSwing product review on this golf blog, so be sure to check it out if you want to see it in action.
Callaway FT Launch Zone winter golf mat - £28.99
Granted, winter is quite a while away but if your dad plays on a course which requires the use of a winter rules golf mat, then this is the best one on the market, as per my 5 of the best winter golf mats blog post. Not only will this mat help your dad play better golf this winter, but you’ll make him the envy of all his friends. Buy now before the prices shoot up as the bad weather approaches.
Spurk Golf winter rules golf mat - £27.75
Another excellent winter golf mat, this one is slightly smaller than the Callaway FT Launch Zone mat above but equally good. In my opinion, it isn’t quite as stable, but it’s lighter and smaller, and it comes with a carry bag. If your dad often carries his golf clubs, this is the one for him.
TaylorMade Speed Soft Golf Balls - £28.95
If your dad is getting on a bit and doesn’t possess the strength or flexibility that he used to, his golf game is probably feeling the strain, especially off the tee. These TaylorMade SpeedSoft golf balls are perfect for golfers who have a slower swing speed and are looking for a golf ball that will give them a better chance of hitting the fairways and greens. These come as a box of 12 and are available in a range of colours. As golf balls go, they’re very well priced for a premium golf ball.
Golf-Grip golf grip training aid - £21.99
If it’s good enough for the best golfer on the planet (Scottie Scheffler) to use to check his golf grip, then it’s good enough for your dad. The golf grip is the most fundamental part of the golf swing, and this handy training aid helps ensure your hands are in the correct positions. Available for left- and right-handed golfers, it’s the perfect device to leave in the golf bag and pull out whenever a quick check is required.
FootJoy RainGrip men's wet weather golf gloves - £25.00
Another must-have for any golfer who plays year-round, especially in the winter months, when it’s often wet and wild. These wet-weather golf gloves provide extra grip during those slippery, wet rounds and will help ensure your dad’s round isn’t as miserable as the weather.

If your dad is looking to improve his golf game, these Shot Scope performance-tracking tags are a must-have. These screw into the grip-end of each club and work in tandem with the Shot Scope mobile app. They track the location and club used for every shot, and allow access to over 100 tour-level statistics to help golfers improve. Shot Scope PRO L2 Laser Rangefinder - £110.49
The Shot Scope PRO L2 is one of Shot Scope’s original golf laser rangefinders, but in my opinion, one of their best. As outlined in my full Shot Scope PRO L2 review, it’s small and compact, accurate, easy to use, packed with features, and incredibly affordable. If your dad doesn’t yet have a laser rangefinder, then he’ll be happy zapping those pins with the Shot Scope PRO L2.

Shot Scope LM1 Launch Monitor - £199.99
This year, Shot Scope has well and truly changed the game with the release of its Shot Scope LM1 budget launch monitor. If your dad is into data and wants to know how far he hits the ball, how fast he’s swinging, or how efficient his ball-striking is, the LM1 is the perfect gift for him. Launch monitors normally cost thousands of pounds, so it’s unusual to see one that’s quick and easy to use, as well as accurate, at this low price point. I recently tested and reviewed the Shot Scope LM1 against my £1300 FlightScope Mevo Gen 2 and the £20,000 TrackMan Range systems, and it performed unbelievably well.
