Shot Scope PRO ZR rangefinder: Everything you need to know

Table of Contents
Shot Scope has just announced the release of their most advanced laser rangefinder to date, the Shot Scope PRO ZR. In this article, find out everything you need to know about this latest addition to their already impressive laser line up.

ABout the Shot Scope PRO ZR

The Shot Scope PRO ZR is the latest addition to Shot Scope’s somewhat impressive range of golf laser rangefinders, slotting into their PRO range alongside the popular PRO LX and the very affordable PRO L2. The PRO ZR has been designed for golfers looking for a premium fast-firing and high-performing laser rangefinder that will stand up to life on the golf course thanks to its DuraShield Hardshell design. According to my research, the PRO ZR’s construction not only helps make it more durable than other comparable lasers but also heavier – helping to improve firing speed and accuracy (apparently to within 1 yard).

The PRO ZR offers an unrivalled range of 1500 yards – certainly the longest golf laser range I’ve come across. Whilst it seems a little excessive for the golf course, I’m definitely intrigued and can’t wait to test that out. Most of the other usual Shot Scope laser rangefinder suspects can be found on the PRO ZR including adaptive slope technology (slope mode), built-in cart magnet, dual black/red optics for varying lighting conditions, target-lock vibration, and a premium carry case.

Key features

The Shot Scope ZR comes with all of the key features you’d expect from a premium laser rangefinder, including:

  • DuraShield Hardshell
  • Built-in cart magnet
  • x6 magnification
  • Adaptive slope technology
  • Ultra clear LCD display
  • Rapid-fire detection
  • 1500 yards range
  • Red/Black dual optics

I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on the new PRO ZR and bringing you a full review as soon as I have had the opportunity to thoroughly test it out on the golf course. I really like the look of it, and can’t wait to compare it against the other lasers in Shot Scopes range. Currently, my go-to laser is the very affordable Shot Scope PRO L2.
