About the Shot Scope PRO LX laser rangefinder

The PRO LX is a brand new offering from Scottish golf technology specialists, Shot Scope Technologies. Released earlier this year (March 2022), the PRO LX is the second rangefinder offering from Shot Scope, building on the success of their hugely popular entry-level PRO L1 model released in 2021.

Shop the Shot Scope PRO LX Rangefinder

If, after reading this blog post you’re interested in purchasing a Shot Scope PRO LX laser rangefinder then I’d recommend buying directly from Shot Scope in order to get the lowest price and the highest level of aftercare. The great news is that if you use the discount code ‘ANDYSGOLF’  at checkout then you can save an extra 15% off of the PRO LX or any other Shot Scope product including the Shot Scope PRO LX+.

Alternatively, if you’re more interested in the entry-level Shot Scope PRO L1 rangefinder then you can pick that up for around £150 with the additional 15% discount.

FINAL WORD

For me, the PRO LX has a more premium look and feel than the PRO L1 and I love the fact that the H4 Handheld can be added to provide GPS information and allow performance tracking. I’m currently in the process of testing it out on the golf course over a lengthy period of time to ensure I can bring you the most honest and accurate review possible. So far, I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen but once I’ve finished thoroughly testing the PRO LX, I’ll add my full review to the Equipment Reviews section of this golf blog and my YouTube channel

I hope you enjoyed reading this article and I would love to hear your thoughts on the new Shot Scope PRO LX (or this article). Feel free to drop me a comment below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for reading,

Andy

Shot Scope H50 on the golf course with contour maps displatyed

January 28, 2026

Shot Scope really delivered at the PGA Show Orlando this year. Whilst he LM1 Launch Monitor certainly made waves, it was their H50 Handheld that really caught my eye. With a massive AMOLED touchscreen and green maps with contours, they've really upped their handheld game. In this article, find out everything we know about the H50 Handheld so far.

Andy looking through the Shot Scope PRO X laser rangefinder on the golf course.

January 24, 2026

Can a customisable nameplate and lightning-fast firing justify a higher price tag? I put the Shot Scope PRO X to the test to see if it’s a must have rangefinder or if you’re better off sticking with its budget-friendly sibling, the PRO L2.
